The third annual Plant City Pig Jam will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Plant City Stadium, 1810 E. Park Road.
Professional teams will vie for the Florida state championships, and there will be amateur contests for adults and children.
Certified Kansas City Barbecue Society judges will award prizes for chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder and beef brisket. The professional team that scores the most points in all four categories will be crowned grand champion and awarded $2,500. The reserve champion team will get $1,500, and cash prizes will be awarded through fifth place.
